Birth of the Revival
We couldn't find the kind of Country and Americana podcasts we wanted to listen to — so we made it ourselves.
Despite the incredible independent Country & Americana talent out there, it was near impossible to find a UK-based platform that truly championed those musicians. So, with zero experience and a budget held together by duct tape, TJ hit record. It was a nervous start — but thanks to the support of our early guests, The Rugged Revival quickly found its rhythm and place in the online world.
Then came Ronnie. After TJ shared the concept, he immediately jumped in. A lover of classic country and the world's biggest George Jones fan, Ronnie brought even more heart to the project. What started as a podcast soon grew into a mission — and now, a movement.

We're here to give a platform to Independent Country, Americana, and Roots artists. Whether you're an artist, a fan, or in the industry — we're creating a space where everyone is seen, heard, and supported.
